This type of steel is obtained by applying heat treatment to cold-rolled and annealed coil or strip material. It is commonly referred to as "tempered steel strip" in practice.
Previously known as C45 Material under DIN/German standards, this steel was redefined as CK45 Material under the European Norm while maintaining the same technical specifications.
CK45 Grade Tempered Spring Steel is produced in cold-rolled form according to the 10132-3 standard and hardened in our heat treatment facilities to achieve 360-480 HV hardness or 36-47 HRC levels.
