C67 (CK67) Annealed Spring Steel

The C67 material, produced in cold-rolled and annealed forms, is generally supplied in two mechanical property ranges: annealed and tempered.

The untreated material is referred to as annealed, while the heat-treated material is referred to as tempered. Previously known as C67 Grade Spring Steel under German DIN standards, this material was redefined as CK67 Grade Spring Steel under the European Norm while maintaining the same technical specifications.

Technical Specifications of CK67 Grade Annealed Spring Steel

CK67 Grade Annealed Spring Steel is produced in a cold-rolled form according to the 10132-4 standard and is identified under work number 1.1231. This steel group is typically supplied in its annealed form but can also be used in its tempered form after heat treatment by the end user.

  • Tempered materials are categorized into two surface options: white (polished) and gray/blue (tempered).
  • The hardness of tempered material ranges between 39-54 HRC.

Our company supplies this material in slit coil or sheet steel form according to your specifications. Additionally, we accommodate requests for production with special thickness tolerances.

Applications of CK67 Grade Annealed Spring Steel

CK67 Grade Annealed Spring Steel is widely used in many industries, particularly in automotive, white goods, and electronics.
